Organized in 1978 when a group of dressage enthusiasts came together to form a new chapter of the Virginia Dressage Association (VADA). As a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization, SWVADA offers clinics, shows, demonstrations, and seminars that are open to the public. The chapter attracts members from throughout Southwest Virginia, from Abington to Harrisonburg to Lynchburg.

The Blue Ridge Eventing Association is a Virginia non-profit organization founded in 1989. Improve your eventing skills through safe and fun unrecognized competitions! We offer several competitions, educational activities, and meetings throughout the year, focusing on the three disciplines of Eventing: Dressage, Cross-Country, and Show Jumping.

The mission of the Blue Ridge Horse Force is to promote grassroots showmanship and sportsmanship by uniting local open horse shows. 

The Green Hill Park Equestrian Center is a public facility owned by Roanoke County in Virginia and operated by a private Board of Directors exclusively for the equine enthusiast. The facility is open year round for members with 3 show rings and a cross country course offering opportunities for all disciplines.
